Selangor Umno Youth today lodged a police report against Parti Keadilan Rakyat for allegedly breaking election rules.
Mohamad Isa Abu Kasim, 41, a representative of Selangor Umno Youth, said in the police report that the Keadilan supporters outside the community hall in Batang Berjuntai, where nomination took place, were provoking the Barisan Nasional (BN) supporters.
He said the opposition party supporters were brandishing banners alleging corruption by Umno - "Buaya makan bangkai Umno - BN baham rasuah" and "Untuk Puteri and Putera Umno! Mereka merompak berjuta wang kita. Hanya RM100 diberi kepada kamu ... Kami sedih, maruah kamu diperbodohkan??"
He said the supporters also threw mineral water bottles, sticks and stones at the BN supporters.
He added that all this clearly went against Election Commission regulations and attached photos of the incident in the police report.
